Why some "black" music has to be so violent, I'll never understand. There are so many outlets for beautiful lyrics and compassionate harmony within the "Urban" genre. Advocating the murder of human beings, much less cops, women, gays or even "bitch-ass n*ggas," really shouldn't be the legacy we leave with the next generation.Stories like this give me hope that the negative influences of death and hate espoused by some reggae and hip-hop artists can give way to a more tolerant outlook. Faced with this pressure, they have cut their output of homophobic songs and now rarely make homophobic statements."
